Grote Industries CEO Receives Prestigious Indiana Award

MADISON, Ind. (January 15, 2025) – Grote Industries President and CEO Dominic Grote recently received the prestigious Sagamore of the Wabash award from Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb.

Bestowed at the personal discretion of the governor for extraordinary contributions to the local community and state, the Sagamore of the Wabash is one of the highest honors the state of Indiana can confer upon a citizen. Among the recipients have been astronauts, presidents, ambassadors, artists, musicians, politicians, and ordinary citizens whose efforts have made a lasting impact on their communities.

This award recognizes, among his other accomplishments, Grote’s almost decade of service on the Indiana Economic Development Corporation board, where he served as chairman of the Regional Economic Development Committee for the majority of this time. “I am deeply honored to receive this award,” said Grote, “and humbled to have been involved in helping advance job creation and encourage business investments for the future of Indiana.”
