Why does the bz501-5 lose charge after being fully charged then put away ? I go to use it and it is dead again. It is useless if I have to recharge every time I need to use it

Grote's Answer

Lithium Ion Batteries will naturally lose their charge over time, even when not in use.

It is recommended to just leave the unit on the charger when not in use. It will not damage the unit and your lamp will be fully charged at all times.
