I want to connect a sealed beam headlight to electrical current. What amperage do I need?

Grote's Answer

Depending on the Headlamp, you could need as much as 5 Amps of current, so your power supply should probably be at least a 10 Amp Power Supply.

For example:
6014 Par 56 Sealed Beam draws 4.7 on HI and 3.9 on Lo

Same size Sealed Beam in LED would be:
2.13 on HI and 1.4 on Lo
