I applied Ultra-Seal to my 7 pin plug on my truck in the fall. Must I clean it before I use the trailer in the spring? The non-connectivity term is confusing me I suppose.

Grote's Answer

The term found on this product is non-conductivity, rather than non-connectivity, meaning that it does not improve power conduction — in fact, it does nothing to power conductivity but to minimize it.  This being said, connections should always be clean and clear of debris. UltraSeal keeps out ‘moisture’ and allows for 2 junctions to seat easily because it has ‘lubrication’ properties.
