LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA (Feb. 12, 2008) Grote Industries Theft-Resistant Mounting was honored as one of Heavy Duty Trucking’s annual Top 5 Aftermarket Product Award winners, during this years Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week. Heavy Duty Trucking magazine editors choose winners based on product innovation, end-user utilization and aftermarket demand.

Editors chose Grote Industries’ snap-in, theft-resistant flanges for the 4-inch round LED lamps because they are ideal for cost-conscious fleets that need to upgrade to LED lighting, but are concerned about the replacement cost associated with theft.

Available in stainless steel and tough polycarbonate, the snap-in flange is secured by locking tabs (as opposed to the standard screw holes) for quick, easy installation. By switching to LED lighting, fleets save more money with LED lamps over incandescent because of less bulb replacement and lower current drain while enjoying longer life for electrical charging and storage systems. The fast response of the LED adds a level of safety when braking, too.
