Grote Introduces Specialty Military Lighting Products

Applications Cover Numerous Vehicle Types Inside and Out


Madison, IN (June 21, 2006) - Grote Industries has announced details of its new specialty line of lighting for both interior and exterior use on a wide variety of military vehicles.

These products feature the latest technology for use on both non-tactical and tactical fighting vehicles.

The three most important include:

·  LED Rear composite stop/tail/turn lamps

·  LED Front composite FPT lamps

·  LED Blackout drive lamps

Grote’s new Military Products Manager Matthew Drake said that the products comply with all FMVSS108, MILSTD1179E & follow the guidelines of STANAG 4381.

“We are happy to be able to offer a broad line of popular applications featuring molded polycarbonate lenses, housings and buckets. Our circuit design has eliminated the threat of detectable lamp EMI (electromagnetic interference)”, he continued.

All the new lamps feature military connectors, fasteners and hole patterns. Front and rear composite lamps work with all military vehicle electrical systems... 12- or 24- volt.

All exterior lamps are available molded in Military Green, Desert Tan, Military Black and Military Brown.

Drake concluded by revealing that Grote had recently been presented awards from US Army TACOM and The Association of the US Army for its advanced work in this area.
