Grote Helps Turn Up the Heat on Connections Three New Tools to Assure Proper Wiring
Madison, IN (March 21, 2006) - It has long been known that the weakest point in today’s increasingly complex safety lighting systems is in the wiring connections. There are few better solutions for preventing moisture incursion than heat shrink connector sleeves. Grote offers three of the best, easiest to use tools for assuring the proper application of heat to get the job completed correctly: · Flameless Heat Gun (83-6508)… This tool is ideal for under the hood applications, and comes with an attachable heat deflector cooling stand.and replacement orifice. Cordless and flameless, it is portable and features automatic ignition. It is OEM approved with a 7500ºC (14000ºF) maximum temperature rating.
· Blower-type Heat Gun (83-6501)…Ideal for all heat shrinkable products. Used to heat temperature sensitive materials including heat shrink terminals, solder splices and all types of heat shrink tubing. The gun has a thermoplastic casing, with two heat settings from 500° F to 1000°F.
· Butane Powered Micro Torch (83-6500)… Features self igniting electronic ignition system with safety lock. Completely portable, this Master micro torch has a 20 minute run time and is powered by a refillable fuel cell… 25000°F maximum temperature rating.
