Grote Rolls Out 2.5 Inch LED Marker Lamp

Small, Surface Mount Unit Prefect for Campers, Small Trailers

Madison, IN (September 25, 2005) – Grote Industries has announced availability of a 2 1/2” oval clearance / marker LED lamp. The new easy to install lamp (available in either red or amber) features a surface mount, which vastly simplifies installation or replacement.

The lamp’s smaller overall size and profile makes it a great choice for narrow applications, as well as rendering it aesthetically pleasing for use as accessory or dress up lighting. 

One of the primary benefits of the LED design is their low amp draw. This makes them ideal for accessory applications where several lamps are used, or where limited power supply is available.

Since the lamps are sealed, they offer better protection against failure from moisture intrusion, one of the most notorious killers of trailer lights.

This lamp can be used in a wider range of clearance/marker applications on vehicles over 80” wide… thus allowing the user to maintain a more consistent look by using one light style.

As an accessory, the available chrome bezel provides a more decorative look. Since it has a self grounding eyelet, the installation is automatically grounded if the lamp if attached to a metal plate.  Additional wiring is not necessary.
