Grote Introduces Flameless Heat Gun Safe Butane Powered Tool Perfect for Underhood Applications
Madison, IN (April 15, 2005) – Grote Industries has announced the availability of its new flameless heat gun (Grote #83-6508). The tool, designed especially for heat shrink electrical connectors and hose clamps, is said to be perfect for underhood vehicle maintenance applications. The cordless, flameless gun is completely portable and features automatic ignition. It is up to the proper temperature and ready to use in 15 seconds. It has adjustable heat settings, and can create heat ratings up to1400°F. The Grote gun includes an attachable heat deflector, which can be used to concentrate heat in a specific area. It features a wide nozzle and a high output, long life catalyst. The versatile tool weighs under 5 oz. filled, and will operate for nearly two hours at mid temp settings.
