Grote Product Earns Magazine Honor Obstacle Detection System One of Nifty Fifty
Madison, IN (June 21, 2004) - Grote Industries' obstacle detection system has been chosen out of hundreds of products to be included in Heavy Duty Trucking Magazine's Nifty 50 Products of 2003. This is Grote's eleventh Nifty 50 award and comes in the June 2004 issue of the nation’s leading fleet managers' magazine. The obstacle detection system was chosen for this honor because it provides drivers with increased awareness while backing up by using ultrasonic waves to detect objects as small as 10 inches. The system also has a built-in error detection by using a microprocessor to filter out erroneous signals. The product was chosen by a group of editors at the magazine who look through all the new product announcements for the year and nominate the products "we think readers should look at again," said Steve Sturgess, Editor. "We want to showcase products that will help our readers operate their businesses better and more efficiently," he finished. |
