The entire series, called Grote Know-How, is designed to give the participant a good working understanding ofthe basics of vehicle electrical systems, as well as the special requirements of vehicle safety and lighting systems for medium and heavy-duty trucks. This workbook and Internet course are based on programmed instruction techniques originally developed for the computer and defense industries. These formats increase student fact retention by an average of 80%. A unique feature is the self-scoring quizzes following each section. A final exam is also included. These tests allow the student to proceed at his own pace, and can provide verification of completion for the employer.
