Subsequent registration to QS-9000 by an independent audit firm added yet another supplier award to the long list Grote has received for its quality systems. In December of 2003, Grote became the first manufacturer in our industry to receive TS16949 certification.

Whether it's a high-mount stop lamp for Ford's Crown Victoria or a headlamp assembly for a John Deere tractor, Grote safety systems are designed to meet or exceed the quality and performance standards established by the leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, SAE, and FMVSS. We constantly monitor and check samples against original specifications with state-of-the-art equipment such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) which can detect variations of up to 50 millionths of an inch.

But quality doesn't stop when we meet a set of standards. We're dedicated to the idea of continuous improvement. We continue to improve our systems to link our documents, improve real time reporting and communication.

Through our subsidiary, Grote Electronics, we now have additional capabilities for OE product development. This has resulted in such products as a multi-function electronic turn signal switch, LED's, fluorescent lighting systems and a new generation of solid state electronic flashers that last up to six million cycles!

Our system enhancements have given us the ability to be more proactive in resolving issues instead of reactive thus improving our quality performance to our customers.
